Big Visitors Arrive in Athens

Georgia is making the most of the final recruiting weekend of the year.

There are a slew of guys that are expected in Athens. 5-star Westover DL and Georgia commit Trenton Thompson will be in town for his official visit as will 4-star Langston Hughes LB and Georgia commit D’Andre Walker, 4-star Randolph-Clay LB Gary McCrae and 3-star Tri-Cities DB Kirby Choates

4-star Ensworth (TN) DB Rico McGraw, who recently de-committed from Alabama, has arrived in town on his official visit with his mother, and McGraw one to watch. It is very possible that he could pull the trigger and flip back to Georgia for good after going back and forth between the Tide and Dawgs over the last year. Reports that McGraw was dropped by Alabama are 100% false. McGraw might commit to Georgia over the weekend or could wait until Signing Day.

2-star Sprayberry PK Rodrigo Blankenship and 4-star Creekside WR Jayson Stanley are also expected in Athens as well for the weekend.

Meanwhile 4-star Macon County LB Roquan Smith is taking his visit to UCLA. He will announce his college decision on Signing Day around 11 AM on ESPNU. I’d also keep an eye on 3-star MLK LB Terez Hall, but he’s probably a very outside shot at this moment. Hall recently visited Wisconsin and will visit Nebraska this weekend.

As Chad Simmons reported yesterday, 5-star Callaway WR and Georgia commit Terry Godwin is scheduled to play basketball for his high school team over the weekend and welcome in Auburn coach Gus Malzahn. Godwin is not expected in Athens over the weekend.
