It’s going to be a long, spread out day.
But the Bulldogs, who were ranked as high as No. 1 a month ago in recruiting rankings, are hoping the long day turns into a Signing Day surge. Georgia enters Signing Day ranked No. 11 by Scout, but could jump up into the top five if several players pick them over rivals - and many are expected to do just that.
Three-star Westlake DL DaQuan Hawkins will sign on Fox 5’s Good Day Atlanta at 8:30 AM EST. Dawg Post will be there for full coverage of his event. Georgia is leading for Hawkins.
4-star Franklin (MD) Patrick Allen, who had been committed to Georgia before de-committing from the Bulldogs about a month ago, will sign at 8:50 AM EST. Insiders expect Georgia to sign Allen, who would be a critical piece to the Bulldogs’ recruiting puzzle this year.
4-star Ensworth (TN) DB Rico McGraw, who was committed to Alabama until recently and had been committed to Georgia before that, will sign at 11:10 AM EST. Dawg Post will be there for full coverage of his event. Georgia is leading for McGraw.
4-star Macon County LB Roquan Smith will sign at 11:20 AM EST on ESPNU. Dawg Post will be there for full coverage of his event. Georgia is considered a slight favorite over UCLA for Smith, who just returned from his official visit to Los Angeles.
5- star Callaway WR Terry Godwin, who is committed to Georgia, but will make his final choice on Wednesday, will sign on Fox Sports South at 6:20 PM EST. Dawg Post will be there for full coverage of his event. Georgia is considered the favorite to sign Godwin over Auburn and Alabama.
As usual, Dawg Post will be there to provide not just instant updates from the field, but also commentary and updates on players who are not making their decision on Signing Day. Expect hourly video updates from Dean Legge in Athens; as well as a full report and rundown from Mark Richt’s press conference, which starts at 2 PM EST. Richt is expected to talk to interested fans during the 11 AM EST hour in Athens.
