Wisconsin Commit Eyeing Dawgs?

Antonio Williams noticed that Thomas Brown left for his home in Athens.

Antonio Williams, who says he’s still committed to Wisconsin where he was once recruited by Brown, thinks highly of the new running backs coach at Georgia.

“Coach Brown and I are extremely close,” Williams said. “He's like a father figure to me.”

The four-star running back committed to the Badgers in December, but he admits that he’s paid attention to Brown’s move from Madison to Athens.

"Him leaving Wisconsin affects a lot of things for me,” Williams said. "He's the best coach I've been recruited by. He talks off the field stuff just as much as on the field with me.”

The North Carolina native said that he’s going to check out Georgia sometime soon. "I have been to Georgia before and at one time, they were my top school,” he said. “I will be visiting there when Coach Brown gets settled in."
