Michail Carter "had a blast" at UGA

Four-star DT Michail Carter visited Athens on Saturday and left with great things to say

Four-star defensive tackle Michail Carter was all praises for the Bulldogs after attending Junior Day.

“UGA was great,” Carter said. “I got a chance to talk to Coach [Tracy] Rocker and [Jeremy] Pruitt. We toured the campus and had a blast.”

Carter, out of Jackson, Georgia, puts the home-state Bulldogs at the top of his list of schools—right with the SEC monster next door.

“My interest level is very high in Georgia,” Carter said. “It is them and Alabama at the top. I like the coaching staff and everything else about them.”

The biggest impact on Carter thus far has been from his position coach, who earned Carter’s attention from his coaching experience.

“Coach Rocker being at Georgia plays a major factor in my interest because other people respect and value his coaching because of his resume,” Carter said.

Rocker has been coaching collegiately for 17 years for a handful of successful programs. An attractive point on his resume is Rocker’s ability to coach guys to an All-American level.

“Rocker told me how much he wanted me to be a Bulldog, and how he can help me reach my full potential,” Carter said.“It feels great to hear that from him, because I know I could be getting coached by the best.”
