2006

Women’s swimming and diving team finish second at NCAA Championships. Georgia swimmer Kara Lynn Joyce named the National Swimmer of the Year by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. Georgia head coach Jack Bauerle named National Coach of the Year by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.

2011

No. 10 seed Georgia loses to No. 7 seed Washington 68-65 in the second round of the East Regional of the 2011 NCAA Tournament. It was first time in nearly ten years the Bulldogs made the NCAAs with an at-large bid. The Bulldogs have lost in the round of 64 in seven of its past nine NCAA appearances.
