Offensive and defensive lineman
Jackson

Chad Simmons’s Quick Take: Carter can clog up gaps in the middle as a defensive lineman or move the pile as an offensive guard; strength is the name of his game.

The Scoop: Carter has been to Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Georgia Tech in the last eight months. It seems like Carter will come down to Georgia and Alabama this fall. The job of getting Carter to Athens will be up to defensive line coach Tracy Rocker.

“My interest level is very high in Georgia. It is them and Alabama at the top. I like the coaching staff and everything else about them,” Carter said. “Coach Rocker being at Georgia plays a major factor in my interest because other people respect and value his coaching because of his resume.”

Carter said recently that he plans to take all of his official visits this fall, and that he plans on committing either during his senior season or just after it. He’s got offers from virtually everyone in the south.
