Thursday Recruiting Fast Five
Five-star DT Derrick Brown will be back in Athens on Friday. For this visit, he is bringing a teammate and his girlfriend rather than his parents, according to national recruiting analyst Chad Simmons. Brown really likes Georgia, and Simmons says the Bulldogs are far in the lead with him. Four-star LB Jaleel Laguins visited Athens on Thursday. Though listed as an OLB, Georgia is looking at him as an ILB target, and according to Simmons, the Bulldogs seem to have the edge. Though E.J. Price had initially planned to visit Athens on Thursday, the four-star offensive tackle ended up not making the trip after having minor surgery on Monday. Coach Rob Sale is zeroing in on Scout 100 OT Willie Allen, who he has known for quite some time, according to Simmons. The 6-foot-7, 300 pound tackle out of Louisiana plans to visit Georgia for G-Day. Newly offered LeAnthony Williams, who just transferred to Roswell, is one to keep an eye on. He and four-star CB William Poole are good friends and would love to play together, according to Simmons.
