Two-Hour Practice for Dawgs Thursday

ATHENS - Georgia continued spring practice on Thursday with a two-hour session on the Woodruff Practice Fields.

The Bulldogs logged their ninth practice in shells with several guests in attendance, including members of the Touchdown Club of Athens.

"We're putting the guys through tough situations and we're learning from them," Georgia head coach Mark Richt said. "We're getting better. The offense showed improvement and the defense keeps playing hard and making plays. The scrimmage is coming up (on Saturday) and that will be another opportunity, another test. We just have to keep working and stay focused on getting better."

The G-Day Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, at 2 p.m. at Sanford Stadium. There is no cost for admission, but fans are encouraged to bring canned goods for the Food Bank of Nort
