“We were just testing the waters with him,” Sale said. “He did individual (work) with us and did some drills. The other drills he did D-line. It’s just not fair to thrust him into team (drills). Obviously he wouldn’t know what to do, but at least you can evaluate him sliding his feet, one on one pass pro and doing boards and explosion things and things like that to see if he has the ability to do it and he showed some promising things.”
