Turman, sidelined last season after foot surgery, went with the second team offense and rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns including a 40-yard score.
“He’s running the ball well, he really is,” Richt said. “Brendan had a nice day. There was some tough yardage here and there. …Most of the yards were pretty hard-earned yards.”
Douglas rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown with the first team.
“I’m going to be a little sore tomorrow,” said Douglas. “Just get in the cold tub and rest up my body these next two days and get ready for practice on Tuesday.”
