According to Georgia coach Mark Richt the main purpose of the practice was to introduce to the team what it will need to know to prepare for South Carolina.
"It was a typical workout," said Richt. "It was not run at a high pace. The main purpose of today's practice was for teaching."
Following the practice the Bulldogs went through conditioning exercises. Georgia, ranked No. 24 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll will take on No. 21 South Carolina this Saturday at 7:45 p.m. in Sanford Stadium.
The game will be televised live on ESPN. All Georgia football games will be broadcast on NewsTalk 750 WSB and the WSB/Georgia Bulldogs Radio Network.
