The 6-foot-3,194 pound senior out of Hendersonville (Tenn.) does not plan to make an early decision. The only school he knows he will visit officially is Penn State, so everyone else is still in the race.
He will not be camping at Dawg Night, just visiting Georgia to see what Athens (Ga.) is like. He is ready to see what UGA is all about.
"I like Georgia's style of play a lot, but I just need to see everything first before I know what to think about them," said Williams.
The four-star knows the Dawgs like him. Jeremy Pruitt has been actively recruiting him and the UGA defensive coordinator was up to see him during the spring evaluation period.
Williams' versatility appeals to Pruitt.
"When coach Pruitt and I talk, he tells me that he thinks I can play every position in the secondary."
Scout ranks Williams as the No. 21 safety in the country.
