ATHENS - Two of Georgia’s assistant coaches have gotten pay raises.

ATHENS - Two of Georgia’s assistant coaches have gotten pay raises.

John Lilly and Kevin Sherrer have both gotten pay bumps according to a story the Athens Banner-Herald broke on Friday.

According to the report, both coaches are now scheduled to be paid $350,000 a year.

Georgia’s assistant coaches are now being paid a collective $4.8 million. The ABH reports that last year’s staff was paid $3.3 million - almost a 45% increase in staff salaries from last year to this year.

Georgia’s total staff paying trails only LSU and Alabama in the SEC.
