Heat Really Hitting Georgia Bulldogs Hard

ATHENS - Dominick Sanders sported a shorter haircut than usual for the start of preseason practices, trimming down what was a mohawk type look previously.

“The heat, it was a little hot out here,” Sanders said. “I just decided to go with this type of hairstyle for this year.”

Probably a good move considering temperatures hit the upper 90s at practice, something that seemed to wear down some backup offensive linemen.

The start of practices still gets the heart pumping even for a senior like outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins.

“I still get a lot of anxiety,” said Jenkins, a senior. “You just really get excited and you’re really ready for the season to start, but you know you have to go through two weeks of camp to get there.”

Georgia will hold the second of 11 straight days of practices Wednesday afternoon.
