UGA Listed as a 35-Point Favorite

ATHENS - Georgia is listed as a heavy favorite to win its season opener.

That comes as no surprise.

Georgia opened as a 31-point favorite over Louisiana-Monroe earlier this summer, but the line has since moved up to a 35-point line. Georgia has been favored in its season opener the last three seasons. Mark Richt’s Georgia teams have only failed to be favorites twice in 15 years (2009 Oklahoma State; 2011 Boise State).

Mark Richt's Bulldogs are 2-7 against the spread when facing teams as a 35-point favorite or more.
