Richt: Won't Discuss QB Starter for UK Game

ATHENS - Mark Richt did not announce a starting QB for the Kentucky game.

"We will get to the quarerbacks soon," Richt said in his weekly teleconference with reporters on Sunday.

"We'll be discussing all possibilities," he confirmed.

The news comes after Georgia's 27-3 loss to Florida. In the game Faton Bauta replaced Greyson Lambert as the starting quarterback, but struggled. Bauta had not attempted a pass this season before going 15 of 33 for 154 yards with four interceptions. Lambert was benched after his performance in Georgia's 9-6 win over Missouri.

Richt was specifically asked if sophomore Brice Ramsey would start in the game before he declined to give an answer. The Bulldogs are 5-3 and ca not win the SEC. Four games remain - Kentucky, at Auburn, Georgia Southern and at Georgia Tech. Georgia has not started three quarterbacks in the same season since 2006 when Matthew Stafford evenutally wound up taking the starting job after the Bulldogs lost to Vanderbilt.
