It was another rainy Monday as Auburn week began so instead of going outside to practice on wet fields, the Georgia football team this time stayed indoors.
“We had a different setup for today’s practice and I really think it was good for us,” defensive lineman Sterling Bailey said. “It helped us focus more. It helped us pay attention to the details.”
The defense and offense took turns with walkthroughs in the Nalley multipurpose room while the other held meetings. The team got together later for special teams work.
“Today was just fine for what we needed to do,” Richt said through a UGA release. (Tuesday) we’ll get back to it and continue to get the work in.”
The Nalley room isn’t big enough to accommodate the type of full-fledged practice work that Georgia will be able to get in when its indoor practice facility is completed by 2017.
