Georgia wants Shyheim Carter and he knows it.
Not only does head coach Mark Richt, defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, and the entire coaching staff want Carter, but someone else in the Butts-Mehre building may want him more than anyone else in Athens.
His name is Sam Petitto. He is the Director of Player Personnel, and before taking a job at UGA, he used to train the No. 7-ranked cornerback out of Kentwood (La.) that is high on the Georgia recruiting board.
Can that connection propel the Dawgs to the top come February? Petitto and the Dawgs sure hope so.
