Oklahoma’s former starting quarterback, Trevor Knight will transfer from the Sooners and could wind up at Georgia.
That’s according to SoonerScoop.com, who reports that Knight will transfer and be ready to play this fall. He has one year of eligibility remaining is reportedly considering transferring to Oregon, Kansas State, SMU and Georgia.
In remains unclear, however, if the Bulldogs (or any of the other programs listed) are interested in Knight. Georgia has only two quarterbacks on scholarships right now - Greyson Lambert, who transferred in to UGA this fall, and Brice Ramsey.
But Georgia is still hoping to sign 5-star QB Jacob Eason, who is set to enroll this January. Any attempt to sign Knight might throw off the Bulldogs’ hopes to sign the Washington native.
