Golston Likes Five

Defensive tackle Kedric Golston has a favorite three and a top five.

"Georgia, Auburn and Florida are my three favorite schools," said defensive tackle Kedric Golston. "I also like Florida State and Tennessee. That is my top five. I would like to play football in the SEC but I also like Florida State. I mean it is Florida State."

Golston, 6-4 and 280 pounds, is arguably the nation's top defensive tackle prospect. He plays for Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek High School, the same school that produced All-American running back JR Lemon (Stanford).

"JR gave me some advice in regards to recruiting because he went through this stuff too. He basically told me to narrow it down as fast as I can so I do not waste anyone's time and to do what I want to do."

Sandy Creek lost last week to Shaw 14-0. Golston faced double and triple teams all night long. "It was a frustrating game because they only threw the ball three times as well." He finished with 10 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries. Golston hopes to attend the Georgia/ South Carolina game this weekend. Sandy Creek takes on Oconee County this weekend.
