He’s coming off his official visit to the Gators, and has been committed to Florida for some time. But Taylor has a strong relationship with UGA head coach Kirby Smart. Smart, who recruited Taylor while he was at Alabama, successfully convinced Taylor to visit the Bulldogs on January 15th.
"I can say my visit to Georgia opened my eyes," said Taylor of his visit to UGA. "It was a great trip for me and my mom. They made a great first impression on us. I think Kirby can build a championship program at Georgia. He is a smart coach who knows a lot about football — a whole lot. He cares about his players, he treats his players like they are his sons, and he is not just about football, he is more than that. He has great energy and I think he can do big things at Georgia."
