Long Signs w/ UGA: What It Means

Dean Legge explains what Marshall Long signing with UGA means.

What it means: Georgia has its punter of the future. Its great that Brice Ramsey is athletic enough to kick a left-footed punt to Lawrenceville when he gets a hold of one, but he’s a quarterback - not a punter. Long decided to ditch playing at West Virginia in favor of playing with the Bulldogs - that’s usually a good move. Time will tell just how well he can punt. I’ve not seen him play one snap, but he’s going to have to be able to punt right away.

Marshall Long says: First I would like to thank everyone who has supported me through the recruiting process. I have decided I will play college football at The University of Georgia on full scholarship. It's always been a dream of mine to play SEC football and it's a blessing to have this opportunity. Can't wait to play between the hedges
