Jenkins, the four-star OL prospect from Montgomery’s Park Crossing, was in town to take in one of UGA’s junior days.
“That was my first trip to Georgia, and I loved it. I loved it,” he repeated. “This was my first time coming, and I loved it. I love trying on the jerseys. It felt like I was already there.”
Jenkins said that he’s “taking everything in” on the recruiting front, but that he was impressed by what Smart is already doing with the Bulldogs.
“He’s doing things good,” Jenkins said of Smart. “Its a place that you want to be. I knew Kirby from Alabama. He’s a young dude - kind of cool. He’s an awesome dude. Coach Pittman is a real good dude. He talked with me for a while Saturday. He told me a lot of good things that I wanted to hear.”
