Deejay Dallas is a highly recruited athlete from Gylnn Academy in Bunswick, Georgia. The former Georgia Bulldog commit recently visited Georgia and talks about his visit.
"I would rate my visit a 9 out of 10." Dallas said. "We talked about how I should take my time with the process and that made it my favorite part about my visit because it helped us get to know each other. It was my first time meeting with the coaches. I'm glad I was able to talk with Coach (Mel) Tucker and coach (James) Coley. They are great guys."
Dallas is one of the top athletes in the state of Georgia for the 2017 class, and could play on both sides of the ball at the next level. Dallas said that his play making ability is what makes him special compared to other recievers in the state.
As a reciever, Dallas had a great week of practice at the Elite Junior Classic back in December, and showed good hands and seperation. He was one of the most impressive players during the week. He made some great catches on the sideline, showed ability to make the one-handed catch, and showed good balance and seperation when running routes.
The class of 2017 is weaker than other years in terms of big time recivers, but Dallas is a a player who could help a team early with his explosiveness and athletic ability.
Dallas also said that a decision date is scheduled for December 12th of this year. Look for Kirby to turn up the heat on this former commit and one of the more talented recievers in the 2017 class.
