Four-star lineman gives Georgia visit a "10"

Four-star lineman Caleb Chandler is a name to know for the 2017 class, and recaps his latest visit to Georgia.

Jefferson (GA) lineman Caleb Chandler's recruitment is really starting to pick up.  Chandler has recieved offers from Tulane, Central Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado State, and Georgia State.  While he did not pick up an offer from Georgia on his visit, Chandler spoke very highly of the new coaches.

"I would rate my visit a 10."  Chandler said.  "This was my first time visiting UGA.  I loved meeting the coaches and staff, they made me feel welcome and showed they care about me and showed me UGA is a great place to be."

Chandler also said he got to speak with the majority of the coaching staff, mainly offensive line coach Sam Pittman.

"Me and coach (Sam) Pittman talked about what it's like to be a student athlete here at Georgia, and what I would play if I came here and much more general stuff about UGA." Chandler said.

At 6-foot-5 302-pounds, Chandler has the size to play all over the offensive line, but his future might be at guard or center.

"They told me I could play tackle, but they would primarily use me at guard or center."  Chandler said.  "They haven't offered yet but hopefully as soon as they get bigger tackles that I can see an offer coming my way."

Chandler said he won't be making a decision until after his senior season so he can focus on his team and winning a state championship.  Look for this rising prospect to pile up more offers in the near future.
