“If you ask (Sports Medicine Director) Ron Courson he’s probably a little ahead of schedule,” Smart said.
Chubb suffered a season-ending knee injury last fall during Georgia’s loss at Tennessee.
“He started doing a little cutting since we got back from spring break,’ Smart said. “He will not be involved in any team drills this spring. But we are excited about where he is. He’s progressed really well. Obviously he overachieves anyway, but he is overachieving in rehab as well.”
