The junior RB was spotted taking second-team reps today during individual drills during UGA’s first spring practice of the year. Earlier in the day coach Kirby Smart said that Chubb would participate during some of the individual work the Bulldogs have.
“He started doing a little cutting since we got back from spring break,’ Smart said. “He will not be involved in any team drills this spring. But we are excited about where he is. He’s progressed really well. Obviously he overachieves anyway, but he is overachieving in rehab as well.”
Today is the first of 15 practices the Bulldogs have this spring. Chubb is not expected to take any hits this spring or participate at G Day.
