2018 lineman talks Georgia visit

John's Creek lineman Reuben Unije is one of the top lineman in Georgia for the 2018 class. He has performed very well in camps all season, and took a visit to Georgia this afternoon.

"My visit was great."  Unije said.  "I was able to watch practice, get my measurables, and speak with some of the coaches."

Although Unije has only been playing football for two years, the 6-foot-6 301-pound lineman has started to gain interest from top programs all over the south.  Unije has visited both N.C State and Florida State so far, and really liked what he saw in Athens.

"I really enjoyed watching offensive line coach Sam Pittman coach up his guys during practice."  Unije said.  I love the way he coaches. He was very encouraging, but also got loud when he saw something he didn't like.  I got to watch the entire practice, and spent 95% of it watching the lineman."

Although he did not receive an offer before he left, Unije feels an offer might be coming his way shortly.

"The coaches want me to come back and go through a 1-on-1 session with them so they can work me out and get a closer look at me."  Unije said.  "They really like my film, but they want me to come back soon and work out for them.  They know I'm a little raw since I haven't been playing very long, but they really like my size."

Unije is a prospect with a very high ceiling, and has a chance to reel in more and more offers this off-season.  He is planning on visiting Tennessee on Thursday.
