Hunter was torn between UGA and an Alabama that had Kirby Smart as its defensive coordinator. The two formed a solid bond early in the recruiting process. And Hunter was having a difficult time picking between those two options.
Then Kirby Smart was hired at Georgia.
A month later Hunter committed to the Bulldogs, becoming only the third 2017 player to pick the Bulldogs with Smart at the helm. Now Hunter says he’s ready to see a crowded Sanford Stadium on G Day.
“I want to see the coaches and players in action,” Hunter said. “I’d really like to see how they have came along in the matter of time they have had (since Kirby was hired).
