Three-star receiver visits Georgia

Roswell (GA) receiver Corey Reed Jr. is starting to gain interest from schools over the country, and the three-star prospect recently took an unofficial visit to Georgia.

Reed is a talented athlete who currently holds offers from Wake Forest, Miami, Louisville, Georgia Southern, Troy, and Kentucky. Other major programs like Georgia, Auburn, and Tennessee have all shown interest in the former Mays star.  Reed recently took a visit to Georgia, and got to watch how the Bulldogs practice.

"I really liked watching practice."  Reed said. "I got to see the locker room, key points in the facility, and I got to talk to wide receivers coach James Coley and really liked him."

Reed also said he enjoyed watching the receivers and that the practice was "hype".  He also said he was glad he got to spend some time with the new staff.

"We got to talk about how the offense is ran and what new things they are installing in the offense."  Reed said.

The 6-foot-3 195 pound athlete was among the top receivers at the Elite Junior Showcase back in December, and was impressive again at the Opening in Atlanta last month. On film Reed does a great job of catching the ball in traffic, especially balls over his head.  He catches the ball at the highest point, and showed great hands on poorly thrown passes.  He looks the part physically, and did a good job of creating separation against some talented defenders in camps over the past few months,

Reed is a player to has the chance to receive more offers in the coming months.
