And right now it certainly seems he’s going to play for Auburn - after all he’s committed to the Tigers. But Williams visited Athens for G Day on Saturday, and came away impressed.
“The visit to Georgia was great,” he said. “The best part was having one-on-one time with Coach Smart and Coach McGee.”
The 4-star running back said he was impressed by UGA’s crowd of 93,000 fans. He also said that Smart and the Bulldogs are ready for him to hop on board and play in Silver Britches in the future - not against them.
“The atmosphere was also cool,” he said. “The coaches are telling me how low they're gonna be at the running back position after this year and how well my chances are coming in and playing are , and that even though I'm committed they're still gonna come hard.”
