Legge's Thoughts: Fromm Shines at UGA Camp

ATHENS - Dean Legge’s quick takes from Kirby Smart’s 7v7 camp at UGA.

Really saw a lot to like about Houston County QB Jake Fromm. His first throw of the day was a long strike for a TD. He had probably two balls in four games that I saw that should have been picked (one was). I was impressed. He looked good. Fromm threw quite a few touchdowns.

Commanding the huddle - that’s not going to be an issue for him. Its going to be interesting in the future to see him compete with Jacob Eason. Fromm, it seems to me, might be more polished than Eason. That’s just my take from today. I think it is going to be an interesting future in Athens in the quarterback room.

Other quick notes - Full notes and commentary following the camp around 7 PM...

Keep an eye out for two younger guys

2018 Eufaula (AL) Kadarian Hill got a lot of attention today from Tracy Rocker and was pulled aside by Kirby Smart.

2018 Nashville Christian (TN) DL Brent Lawless also received attention from Rocker and Smart.
