2016 SEC Media Days: Dominick Sanders Q&A

HOOVER, Ala. - UGA DB Dominick Sanders talks with the media at 2016 SEC Media Days

On being at Media Days

First off, I just want to say good morning to you guys. It’s a pleasure being here. This is my first time here. To represent the football team is a good experience. I’m happy to be here and [happy] to answer your questions.”

On quarterback Jacob Eason

“The kid can throw. The kid is very talented and a very hard worker. It’s a pleasure going against him every day.”

On the secondary

“We hope to have the best secondary this year. We just want to stay focus and grind everyday on the field and in the weight room.”

On playing for a new coach

“It’s pretty awesome. I actually knew Kirby [Smart] in high school. He is an awesome guy. We work everyday in the weight room, applying everything for him and do what we can off the field.”

On expectations

“A lot of these happen for a reason. Our main thing is staying on track, applying pressure and doing what we do to get there. Things happen for a reason.”

On the opening game vs. UNC

“It’s a pleasure to play them and I can’t wait.”
