That’s according to multiple outlets, including the Athens Banner-Herald, which described Eason’s situation at practice as follows:
“Eason threw deep balls with the others, but he tossed a ball back and forth with a coaching assistant further up the field while others were throwing to receivers during one period. That came after trainer rubbed his right, throwing shoulder on what was the ninth straight Georgia practice.”
Tuesday was Eason’s scheduled day to practice with the No. 1 unit on offense. UGA coach Kirby Smart is scheduled to meet with the media on Wednesday night, but Tuesday night didn't UGA include any information about anything changing in terms of Eason’s status to practice moving forward in its press release about practice.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to scrimmage on Saturday with Greyson Lambert penciled in to be with the No. 1 unit that day. The scrimmage is closed.
