Jamyest Williams had a very good visit I was told. He was there for the scrimmage plus another 4-5 hours I have been told. Williams got time with both Smart and Tucker... Both made sure he knows that he is a priority. Both talked about how he'd fit in as well, and how they would use him defensively and possibly get the ball in his hands. I am still feeling South Carolina has the edge, but Georgia is under strong consideration. The thing about this one is, Williams is likely still going to visit Georgia or South Carolina again regardless of who he commits to on the 27th. I keep hearing it is all about the playing time and being THE guy at Carolina.
Leonard Warner has tripped to UGA three times this summer... Both he and his family are very high on the Dawgs. There is no doubt Georgia is in the driver's seat here. I would not be surprised after checking around if he committed in the near future. His father still says (even after this UGA visit) that Stanford is a place they feel they need to see before committing to someone. I said this on here months ago — I do not feel Warner gets the respect he deserves as a LB prospect. The kid can move for his size.
Nate McBride is Georgia's to lose. I will post a story on McBride later this week... It is basically Georgia and Oregon. He has scheduled an official visit to Oregon the first weekend in October, and the entire family is going out there. He has a great bond with Coach Pelham at Oregon, and he believes he really fits into their scheme. Auburn is hanging around as well.
You may be hearing a lot about Miami and Jeremiah Holloman right now... I would be very surprised if he ends up in Coral Gables. An official visit? Maybe. But he is going to an SEC school. Georgia remains in a very good spot.
D'Andre Swift will commit Sept. 1. I will be VERY surprised if he is not a Bulldog
