Practice Notes - (9/14)

Andrew Stephens breaks down Wednesday's practice. Rotations at the quarterback, offensive guard, and running back spots leave a lot of questions ahead of the Dawgs first true road test.

Again, I'll be live around 5pm EST on Monday-Wednesday on Facebook to answer any questions and discuss practice/anything else of note. Come join.

DEFENSIVE LINE
-Julian Rochester in #55 jersey for the second straight day
-Carter, Hawkins-Muckle, Thompson, and Bellamy running across the front

LINEBACKERS
-Juwan Taylor and Roquan Smith rotating at ILB. Natrez Patrick still in

SECONDARY
-Tyrique McGehee is in a non contact jersey
-Dom Sanders and Mo Smith very vocal today as well. Obvious team leaders, good to see them taking an active role

OFFENSIVE LINE
-Appears that Kublanow, Pyke, and Wynn taking a very vocal leadership role, especially with the offense
-Solomon Kindley working in at RG instead of Gaillard

TIGHT ENDS
-Working on a lot of route running today. I would anticipate this being a fold of the offense that could develop moving forward. Was not shown during UNC seemingly due to lack of comfort with the QB's and was not used much against Nicholls because of lack of necessity.

RUNNING BACKS
-Herrien looks to have passed Brendan and Holyfield on the drills depth chart
-Chubb, Sony, Herrien, Douglas, Holyfield now

QUARTERBACKS
During run drills:
-Greyson with ones
-Eason with twos

During pass drills:
-Eason first
-Lambert second

During live work:
-Eason with ones
-Lambert not seen

Long story short:
-We still don't know shit

WIDE RECEIVERS
-Riley Ridley not in pads today, had a soft cast around his right arm and thumb. I would not expect him to play before Tennessee

SPECIAL TEAMS
-Nothing of note
