Rebels Open as TD Fav Over UGA

ATHENS - Georgia opened as a 6.5-point underdog on Sunday for its game at Ole Miss.

UGA hasn’t been an underdog since defeating Auburn on the road last season. Georgia was considered a one-point underdog in that game. The Bulldogs were also three-point underdogs in their lopsided loss to No. 11 Florida in 2015.

Since 2001, UGA has been a road underdog 36 times. The Bulldogs have gone 13-23 straight up in those games, but are 7-6 as true road underdogs against ranked foes. Ole Miss is 6-5 as a home favorite hosting a ranked team since Hugh Freeze took over the program in 2012.
