Injury Claims another Dawg.

It's been a tough pre-season for the defending SEC Champions, and Zeb McKinzey is the latest casualty to the injury bug.

Zeb McKinzey is one freshman I had pegged to contribute early at Georgia, but those early contributions are going to be put on hold as he is undergoing season ending shoulder surgery in the very near future.

"He was complaining of a burner in his shoulder for a while," said McKinzey's dad Sam. "He finally went for an MRI today, and they found some torn cartilage. He's going to be out for four or five months. He'll get a redshirt and be ready to go next year. There's a silver lining in every cloud, and he'll be ready to go next season."

McKinzey was ranked the #4 player in the state of Georgia and a four star offensive lineman by last season, and he was a key component to Parkview's three straight state titles. While he will not see the playing field this year, his future is still very bright at Georgia.
