Dawg Post Tuesday Update:

Dawg Post gives the latest on UGA recruiting

Last night head coach Kirby Smart and receivers coach James Coley made an in home visit with one of the top targets on their board. Newton (GA) pass catcher Jeremiah Holloman has seen his recruitment blow up this year, after winning the MVP award at the Lovejoy MVP camp. Teams across the country have been recruiting Holloman hard, including the Georgia Bulldogs.

Holloman tweeted out a picture with Smart and Coley with the caption "Dawgs attract Dawgs". The Bulldogs are in serious need of playmkaing receivers, something that Holloman brings to the table. He's an excellent blocker who can also make big plays on the perimeter with his speed and ball skills. The 6-foot-2 195-pound Holloman is the top receiver in Georgia for 2017, and ranked a s a four-star prospect. Georgia is very much in this along with Miami and Tennessee. Georgia also has commitments at receiver from Trey Blount, Mark Webb, and Matt Landers, who will take an official visit to Ole Miss.

Four-star receiver Trey Blount also received a home visit from Jim Chaney last night. Blount is another commit recruiting others hard for Georgia, and he is excited to be playing for the Bulldogs, a lifelong dream of his.

Joshua Kaindoh is another new name to know in the 2017 class. The country's sixth-ranked recently decommitted from Maryland, and has set up an official trip to Georgia. The Bulldogs already have his former IMG Academy teammate Robert Beal in the class, another quality defensive end, which could help the Bulldog's chances in the end. The Bulldogs also have Devante Wyatt committed at defensive tackle, someone who had a monster senior season. Georgia is looking at Malik Herring at defensive end, and major target Aubrey Solomon at defensive tackle. Herring looks more like a future Bulldog at this point than Solomon, so it's easy to see why the staff should be excited about the opportunity to land Kaindoh. Other schools are seriously in the mix inlcuding Penn State and Florida State, but this is certainly a situation to monitor, especially during his official visit this weekend.
