Top UGA Commit Visiting Texas?

ATHENS - One of the Bulldogs' top commits in the 2017 class has been flirting with Texas.

It appears that Scout 300 RB Toneil Carter, who has been committed to the Bulldogs for some time, has been talking with Texas and their new coaching staff about what his future could be like there. Scout National Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons reported Tuesday that "it could get interesting" if Carter visited Austin.

But now Simmons is reporting that Carter "does NOT plan to visit Texas this weekend." It is now likely, according to Simmons, that Carter is headed to UGA in January.

"It now looks like his next visit to a college campus will be when he moves to Athens the first week of January," Simmons reports.
