— Who's next? That is the question I always get asked regardless of what message board I am on, what radio show I am on, and wherever I am this time of the year... For Georgia, DeAngelo Gibbs and Nate McBride are two that are set to decide in the future. Gibbs has said he will commit at the UA game and McBride at the Army game. I would not be surprised to see one of them commit before the dates they have put out for months. I still like Georgia for both.
— Markaviest Bryant does not plan to take his recruitment to signing day. He has Alabama, Auburn and Georgia on top, then Florida and LSU. Auburn and Georgia are the top two at this time. He plans to take four OVs in January, but he is still working on all the dates. He is talking to someone at UGA almost daily. Sherrer is the main coach he speaks with and his lead recruiter. As of now, this is an Auburn vs. Georgia battle.
— I do not see UGA signing 5 WRs in this class right now. Nico Collins is trending hard to Michigan right now, but all could change if Bama misses on Devonta Smith or Henry Ruggs. We will see if this changes, but at this time, with the class how it is (if it changes, then my thoughts will change), I see UGA sticking with 4 WRs.
— I have had questions about Monty Rice, and if he was a take or not for Georgia when he committed... Without question, he was a take. He was a big target for UGA.
— Things still look good for UGA with Leonard Warner. He is set to visit Stanford Jan. 14, and that will be big for all involved. At this time, Georgia is still the team to beat.
— UGA is still working hard behind the scenes to get an official visit from Aubrey Solomon. Nothing will surprise me with his recruitment right now. This will be one that changes a lot between now and February 1.
— Georgia is really trending for Scout 300 ATH Tray Bishop. I have said for a while now, it is Florida and Georgia here. It would not shock me if he committed sooner rather than later. Mel Tucker and Kevin Sherrer have both done an amazing job with him.
— IMO, the biggest hole in this class RIGHT NOW is CB... William Poole is good, Gibbs could get a look there, and Bishop (if he signs with Georgia) could as well, but they need one more TRUE CB. Will it be Speed? Will someone new pop up in January? Will an old name come back to life? IMO, they need another top CB in this class.
