Over the weekend, a large group of IMG prospects including linebacker commit Nolan Smith, 2019 back Noah Cain, 2018 OT Daniel Faalele, and 2018 DB Brendan Radley-Hiles all took a visit to Georgia. Cain in particular is an outstanding prospect and he was offered by the Bulldogs on his visit.
“Coach McGee offered me and I was very excited this is an offer I’ve been waiting on.” Cain said. “Georgia will be one of my top schools because of their offense and because of the relationship I’ve developed with the staff. I’ll be back at UGA for sure. Coach Jay Valai there is like an older brother to me. The first thing I’m going to look for in a school is their physical therapy program because that’s what I want to major in. Then I’m going to look at their offense, school environment, and I’m going to really see which school presents an opportunity for me to play as a freshman.”
Look for others to join Cain back in Athens again in the future.
It looks like the Florida State Seminoles are trending heavily with some major peach state prospects. The ‘Noles are making Grayson a priority moving forward, and they just landed 2019 Grayson defensive lineman Tru Thompson this weekend. Florida State was his first big offer, and they were in the lead for quite some time. The Seminoles offered multiple Grayson prospects in late February and they could land more in the near future. The peach state is loaded with talent in the 2019 class, and the Bulldogs will have to hold off the Noles in particular for some of the state’s best.
On Saturday, tight ends coach Shane Beamer extended an offer to John Curtis Christian (LA) tight end Glenn Beal. The 6-foot-4 247-pound Beal also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, among others. He is ranked as a three-star prospect.
