Dawg Post Wednesday Recruiting Update:

Dawg Post recaps the latest news in UGA recruiting

Hapeville Charter (GA) defensive end Kingsley Enagbare continues to see his recruitment take off, picking up an offer from Tennessee. The6-foot-4 255-pound defender also earned an offer from Auburn on Monday. The Bulldogs offered in late February, and they are in a good spot moving forward. The Bulldogs have had recent success at Hapeville Charter landing William Poole in the 2017 class, and they are in the top group for 2018 cornerback Christopher Smith as well. Georgia and North Carolina are both in a great spot currently for Enagbare.

Another prospect who has been earning offers daily is Alpharetta cornerback Jaycee Horn. Georgia offered last week, as did mighty Alabama. Florida offered yesterday, and Ohio State offered on Sunday. Alabama and Wake Forest are two teams standing out the most for one of Georgia’s best cornerback prospects.

Rome (GA) defensive lineman Jamarcus Chatman has been offered by Southern California, Florida, Pittsburgh, and Mississippi State the past few days. New Georgia defensive line coach Tray Scott has shown heavy interest, but the Bulldogs have not extended an offer. Chatman visited Clemson recently but the Tigers have not offered either. If they do, the Tigers would be tough to beat.

Westlake safety Myles Sims picked up an offer from Washington recently. The long and rangy defensive back prospect is high on Georgia’s board at the moment, but he will continue to take visits and enjoy the process.

2019 defensive back Malik Washington picked up an offer from Vanderbilt yesterday. One of the most versatile players in the state, Washington might be on the smaller side, but he’s a great athlete who can impact the game at any time.
