The Bulldogs had a busy day yesterday as they extended an offer to Grayson (GA) offensive tackle Wanya Morris. The 6-foot-5 280-pound sophomore has great size, long arms, and has the build to gain more weight and muscle with ease. Morris was impressive during the True19 game in January, and has since picked up offers from LSU, Alabama, Georgia, and many others. He, along with multiple 2019 prospects, visited Florida, Florida State, and Miami in February, and earned an offer from all three. The 2019 class is very deep at on the offensive line, and Morris is one of the best out there. Morris is visiting LSU on Saturday.
Georgia got some big news yesterday as they made the top 10 for 2018 receiver Joshua Moore. While the Bulldogs are only taking 2-3 receivers in this class, it’s clear they have made Moore a priority since late last season. He visited Georgia last summer, and while he doesn’t have a visit planned yet, he admits that he wants to get back to Athens again soon.
Georgia also extended an offer yesterday to Parkway (LA) receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. The big 6-foot-4 190-pound playmaker is the top-ranked receiver in the south, and the 26th-ranked player in the country.
Callaway (MS) defensive tackle James Williams was also offered by Georgia yesterday. The 6-foot-4 260-pound lineman holds offers from Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, among others.
Archer (GA) defensive back Jalyn Phillips received an offer from Oregon yesterday. Phillips is another talented prospect in the 2019 class, and will continue to pick up major offers in the near future.
2018 McEachern (GA) receiver Genuine Potts received an offer from West Virginia yesterday. Potts is a received I’ve been high on for well over a year now, and his recruitment is starting to take off. He is a prospect to keep an eye on moving forward.
Central Gwinnett (GA) quarterback Jarren Williams was offered by Ole Miss yesterday. He does not have a Georgia offer, but he is an option as Georgia needs to take two quarterbacks in the 2018 class. Williams is currently committed to Kentucky, and will visit LSU on Saturday.
Athens Christian School (GA) outside linebacker Richard Jibunor was invited by the Georgia staff to watch a spring practice once they get started. The three-star prospect holds a Georgia offer, and plans to visit Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, and Auburn as well this spring.
