The Georgia staff has been busy recently offering some top out of state prospects. The Bulldogs have offered Baylor commit Tyquan Thornton, a long 6-foot-3 receiver out of Miami, Florida. The staff also offers Florida commit Divaad Wilson, a three-star cornerback out of Miami Northwestern (FL).
2018 DL target Darnell Jefferies will be visiting Florida this weekend, and will attend Georgia’s spring game on the 22nd. Jefferies took another visit to Clemson last weekend, and the Tigers look to be Georgia’s top threat at the moment. He visited Mississippi State yesterday.
Another 2019 name to know is Archer (GA) DB Jalyn Phillips. Phillips has great size at 6-foot-2 220-pounds with offers from North Carolina, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Maryland, Colorado, Vanderbilt, among others. Georgia is showing interest and sending heavy mail but have not offered yet. That could change this summer or fall.
Georgia target Marquez Ezzard received an offer from FSU yesterday. The Bulldogs are still in a great spot here for one of their top 2018 targets.
Troup County (GA) OLB King Mwikuta is coming off a recent trip to Auburn, and the Tigers are making him a top priority. The long pass rusher has been impressive all spring, and the Georgia staff has taken notice. He was in Athens last week and Mwikuta plans to attend their spring game on the 22nd with elite 2020 teammate Kobe Hudson. The duo will be visiting Alabama this weekend, a top school for both prospects.
An emerging tight end in 2018 is West Forsyth (GA) prospect Ben Bresnahan. After a big junior season, schools from across the country have started to show strong interest. Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Wake Forest, and Minnesota have offered the three-star tight end so far. He will be visiting Michigan and Pittsburgh on Friday, and will attend Ohio State’s spring game on Saturday.
2020 Callaway (GA) athlete Michael Robertson Jr. was recently offered by Michigan and Baylor. He plans to visit Georgia Tech this weekend and will likely be in Athens for their spring game the following weekend.
Elite 2020 back Deondre Jackson plans to visit Georgia this weekend. He does not hold a Georgia offer at the moment, but one could come any day. He is on the staff’s radar, and was in Athens last Friday on a visit. Tennessee and Alabama have both offered in recent weeks.
