Top Kicker Commits to UGA

ATHENS - UGA got a commitment from perhaps the top place kicker in the country on Saturday - Norcross’ Jake Camarda.

“I am blessed to say that I am officially committed to the University of Georgia,” Camarda tweeted Saturday night.

It was good news for the Bulldogs to hear considering they lost Rome DL Adam Anderson to LSU earlier in the day. Georgia still has only two players committed to them in the class of 2018. The Bulldogs hosted a slew of top prospects at their annual G Day.

Camarda was named an All-American Underclassmen by Scout in January. He held offers from both the Bulldogs and Rutgers.
