Monster OL updates Top 5 with 2 leaders

Courtney Abbott is a monster offensive lineman from Westlake High School in Atlanta. At 6-8+ and 330 pounds, Abbott has all of the tools to be an All-American.

Courtney Abbott is a monster offensive lineman at 6-8+ and 330 pounds with the feet of a basketball player, he has the potential to be as good as he wants to be on the next level. I have him listed as a First Team All-State on the GAVSV. The last time we talked with Abbott, there was an out of state school that had caught his eye. Has anything changed?

"My first call was from LSU this month," said Abbott. "I also got calls from Auburn, Miami, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Florida, Florida State, Michigan, and Maryland. I have about 20 or 30 offers right now. My Top 5 is LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Michigan, and Florida. LSU and Georgia are my two leaders right now."

Like many of the top players in the country, Abbott will take in several games on unofficial visits.

"I am going to the Georgia/USC game this weekend, and in two weeks, I'm going down to Florida for their game against Tennessee."

Abbott teams with Michael Brown to form one of the best offensive line tandems in the country. It would not be surprising to see both players end up at the same school on the next level, although Brown may play full time at defensive tackle.
