2018 DE calls UGA "Dream School"

Dawg Post gives the latest on UGA news and recruiting.

Georgia offensive coordinator Sam Pittman was at Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, Florida today to see defensive end Connor Parks. The 6-foot-4 225-pound lineman was excited to see the Bulldogs are starting to show interest, and holds the Bulldogs in high regard.

"UGA came by my school today and will probably offer soon." Parks said. "Coach Pittman seemed to love me at sight and UGA is my dream school!"

If the Bulldogs offer, that could change Park's recruitment dramatically, and will "most definitely" be at the top of his list. Purdue, Southern Miss, Bowling Green, and Colorado State have also offered the rising senior.

Another 2018 prospect in Florida to know is receiver Jalen Jordan. The IMG (FL) playmaker has great size at 6-foot-5 210-pounds, and holds offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Boston College, UCLA, and Central Florida.

"Georgia is definitely one of my top school!" Jordan said. "I haven't had an unofficial or official visit to UGA yet, but I've been several times because my twin sister,Jala Jordan, is one of their top girl's basketball prospects. We talk about going to the same school all the time. I like that their coaches communicate a lot. They speak on academics as well as football. They also talk about how well I fit into their offensive scheme."

The Bulldogs will likely only take 3 receivers, with in-state targets Kearis Jackson and Marquez Ezzard being the top two guys one their board. If Georgia misses one one, Jordan could be a guy they start to target a little harder down the road.

The Bulldogs are hosting three high school camps next week from June 1-3. This is always a big opportunity for major prospects to get back on campus in front of the coaches, and it gives the coaches an opportunity to evaluate more prospects. The way this 2018 class has started out, look for multiple prospects to really shine and make a name for themselves over the next few weeks.
