UGA Trending for Top Targets?

Dawg Post takes a look at a few candidates who could be the next to commit to Georgia.

It’ been a great summer for Georgia recruiting as the Bulldogs have picked up 5 commitments in the past 31 days, including five-star running back Zamir White. Dawg Post breaks down who could be the next prospect to commit to Georgia this summer.

Stephon Wynn, DT, IMG Academy (FL):

The four-star lineman listed a top 3 on June 19th that included Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. He’s originally from South Carolina so the Gamecocks are certainly in the mix, and sources tell Dawg Post that he is still a take at Alabama. Georgia appears to be in a great spot for Wynn one day prior to his decision, but this could go either way.

Kinglsey Enagbare, DT, Hapeville Charter (GA):

Enagbare has become a top target the past couple of months, and it appears to be a Georgia/South Carolina battle here. The three-star prospect has come close to committing multiple times, but has decided to continue taking his time with a process. A decision is likely to come later this summer and the Bulldogs are in great shape at the moment.

Trey Dean, S, Dutchtown (GA)

A top Georgia target, Dean plans to announce on July 31st. Texas has made a big as of late, and Dean plans to visit Austin on July 14th and will likely visit Georgia again before his decision. Georgia could be tough to beat in the end.

Dominick Blaylock, WR, Walton (GA)

One of the top 2019 prospects in the country, the Bulldogs have done a great job recruiting Blaylock the past two years, and he is looking to decide in August between Georgia, Auburn, and Clemson. Blaylock is an early four-star in the 2019 class.

Tyreke Johnson, DB, Trinity Christian Academy (FL)

Johnson could be close to a decision, and Georgia has made him a top priority in the 2018 class. The Bulldogs plan to take two safety prospects in this class with Dean and Johnson being the top targets. UCLA is also in the mix here.

JD Bertrand, LB, Blessed Trinity (GA)

A top linebacker prospect in the 2019 class, Bertrand grew up watching Georgia and the Bulldogs could be tough to beat in the end. Bertrand visited Georgia on June 9th and has visited Clemson and LSU as well this month. He is close friends with Georgia targets Dominick Blaylock and Ryland Goede, and a decision could come this summer.
