Top DT to be at Georgia/Alabama?

Lorenzo Washington is holding steady with two leaders. What are his weekend plans?

Loganville, GA lineman Lorenzo Washington is one of the Top 10 Players in the state this year. His Grayson team has dropped two of their last three going into last week's bye week, and Head Coach Mickey Conn may be making some changes involving big Lorenzo.

"I might be moving inside to nose guard this week," said Washington.

Washington will likely play defensive tackle on the next level, and his move inside will give recruiters a glimpse of his potential at his more natural position. As far as recruiting goes, things are still standing on equal ground for his Top 2.

"Alabama and Georgia are still my two favorites. I wish I could have gotten to more games for unofficial visits. I haven't even made it to a Georgia game yet."

Might that change this weekend with his two favorites colliding 30 minutes from his home on Saturday?

"I wish I could go, but I made homecoming court, and I have to be at the dance on Saturday."

But Lorenzo, it's a CBS game. It starts at 3:30.

"Really? Hmmm. I might be able to go up for a little while then. I still have to be back around 6:00, but I'll have to check and see if I can go up there now."
